We pick up any item where the majority of its weight is metal, completely free. This includes washers, dryers, stoves, water heaters, furnaces, lawn mowers, car parts, bikes, fencing, metal pipes, grills, power tools, auto batteries, and much more. If it is metal and it is outside or in the garage, we will take it at no charge. Note: refrigerators and freezers have a small freon fee ($20-$25).

Our free pickup model is not charity -- it is smart business. The scrap metal in appliances and metal items has real commodity value. When we pick up your old washer or pile of scrap metal, we recycle it through our facility and earn revenue from the metal itself. Your junk is our raw material.

No. We take appliances in any condition -- broken, rusted, flooded, or just old. The condition does not matter because we are recycling the metal, not reselling the appliance.

All free pickup items must be outside or in the garage. We cannot enter your home for free pickups. Items should not be placed on the road or curb -- a driveway, porch, or garage is ideal. If you need items removed from inside your home, our affordable inside removal service is available.

A small fee applies to: freon-containing items (refrigerators $20-$25, AC units $15, dorm fridges $15), TVs ($15-$70 depending on type and size), furniture (couch $65, love seat $50, recliner $45), mattresses (twin $20, full $25, queen $30, king $35, box spring $10), inside removal ($20-$120 depending on floor and appliance), and a few specialty items like dishwashers ($15), microwaves ($10), and basketball goals ($10).

Refrigerators and AC units contain freon refrigerant that federal law requires to be professionally recovered -- it cannot be released into the atmosphere. The freon fee ($15-$25 depending on the unit) covers the cost of this legally required environmental safety procedure.

For refrigerators: $65 from the main floor, $95 from a basement or second story. For all other appliances: $20 from the main floor, $40 from a basement or second story. If disassembly is required, add approximately $30 to each price. Door removal on the home is $20 per door.

Tube TVs: up to 19 inches is $15, 25 to 27 inches is $25, over 27 inches is $35. LCD, flat screen, and plasma: up to 50 inches is $20, 51 to 55 inches is $25, over 55 inches is $30. Projection TVs: up to 55 inches is $55, over 55 inches is $70. Additional fees apply for inside removal.

We typically offer same-day or next-day pickup in our core service area (Indianapolis metro, Greenwood to Carmel, Plainfield to New Palestine). Call before noon and there is a great chance we will be at your door that same day.

For free pickups of items outside or in the garage, no -- we offer fully contactless service. Just place the items where we can access them and we will text you when the job is done. For inside removal or paid services, someone should be available.
